(99.9 KTDY) - It won't be long now until the Easter Bunny drops by to bring wonderful candy, treats, and other gifts to our amazing children. Getting to take a picture with the Easter Bunny is a rite of passage for children and parents alike. This year, Easter Sunday will fall on April 5.

Some of the sweetest family photos we have likely feature our children sitting happily with the Easter Bunny and grinning from ear to ear.

And, for some families, there are those who have pictures with their children crying with the Easter Bunny.

No matter which one or both of those pictures you have, pictures with the Easter Bunny are treasured memories for years to come.

Whether you call him Peter Cottontail, Peter Rabbit, or the Easter Bunny, most children enjoy getting to take a few photos with the big, fluffy bunny! Maybe you could even start a new tradition for Easter this year? The Easter Bunny Loves to Visit Zoosiana

If you hop on over to Zoosiana and pay the admission fee, or have a membership, you get to visit all the animals and see the Easter Bunny in front of the carousel at 11:30 and 2 p.m. each Saturday and Sunday through April 4.

You also get to take part in Eggstravaganzoo!!! Each day features an Easter-themed scavenger hunt, candy giveaways, photo opportunities, and new weekend-only activities, including "Treat & Greet" stations.

Brunch and Beats Is Happening in Carencro with the Easter Bunny Leading the Way

Carencro will host Brunch and Beats on Saturday, March 28, from 8:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m., featuring an Easter egg hunt, fun kids' activities, a flag hunt, and photo opportunities.

The Easter Bunny Will Be Visiting Acadiana Mall

You can hop onto the Acadiana Mall's website for information on purchasing a photo session with Peter Cottontail. Bunny times begin on Monday, March 13.

Hippity Hop Over to Jockey Lot to See the Easter Bunny

The Easter Bunny will be paying a visit to the Jockey Lot on weekends from 10:30 a.m. until 2:30, except during the Bunny's break from 12:00 p.m. to 12:40 p.m. The bunny needs to eat his carrots. Prices for photos will be listed at the event.
