Kerry In Iraq To Talk About Crisis
BAGHDAD (AP) — Secretary of State John Kerry is urging Iraq's Shiite-led government to give more power to political opponents before a Sunni insurgency seizes more control across the country.
Kerry flew into Baghdad today to meet with Iraq's leaders, including Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki.
The talks are not expected to be friendly. U.S. officials have suggested that al-Maliki step down, which he's shown no sign of doing.
