LA Wallet App’s Fee Waived but Only for a Short Time

As many of you may know, our state has an app now where you can show your license via the app anytime it needs to be presented. Of course, for the time being, this app or your use of it is not mandatory. Although, personally I imagine that will be coming down the pipe sooner rather than later.

Typically, to sync your license and information with this app, it costs $6 to do so. However, from now until the end of May, the sign-up fee has been waived and you pay absolutely nothing.

The app is already being used in other forms, not just during police stops, like at bars and other stores. We always have our phones, even if we happen to forget our wallet... I actually love this app and will take advantage of the deal myself.
