Lafayette Fire Department Offering Smoke Alarms For Those Hearing Impaired

The Lafayette Fire Department has announced that they are giving fire alarms/smoke detectors to those that are hearing impaired.

In addition to that, the department will even install the alarms in the homes of those that may be impaired.

The alarms for those that are hearing impaired alert homeowners of a fire via light, sound and movement.

In order to get an alarm, you or someone must fill out the application HERE. If you cannot access it online, you can obtain an application at the Fire Prevention Division, 2100 Jefferson St. Bldg B in Lafayette.
