Lafayette Police To Conduct Safety Checkpoint

Lafayette Police will hold a Safety Compliance checkpoint Saturday from 9 a.m. to noon. Officers will be making sure drivers have a valid license, proof of insurance, and are wearing their seatbelts. Officers will respond with zero tolerance toward those not meeting these guidelines.
