Lafayette Releases ‘Downtown Nightlife Expectations’

If you've gone out to a nightclub or bar recently, you've noticed things are quite different in Phase 2 of the COVID-19 pandemic. To help patrons understand what to expect, Downtown Lafayette has released "Downtown Nightlife Expectations".

There are many restrictions in place for clubs and bars to keep patrons and employees as safe as possible. From occupancy limitations to proper procedures when waiting in lines, it's a really good idea to know what's going on before you go out.

Included in the information if is a heads-up about Lafayette's go-cup ordinance. The go-cup ordinance ends at midnight, so no open containers are allowed in the street after the ordinance ends.
