Lafayette Road Closing Through August for Bridge Replacement
A road in Lafayette Parish will be closed through August of this year to replace an existing bridge.
Stutes Road, officially in Judice, Louisiana, will be closed from February 11, 2025, through August 11, 2025, for the bridge work (located approximately 0.36 miles west of Lagneaux Road).
Lafayette Consolidated Government's Traffic, Roads, and Bridges Department says the full bridge replacement project includes the removal of the existing 20-foot timber bridge and the installation of a double box culvert, along with associated earthwork and roadway improvements.
