Lafayette Suspect Wanted In Rape Case Arrested
LAFAYETTE, La. (KPEL) -- Police have arrested a Lafayette man who was wanted in connection with a rape back in May.
According to KATC TV-3, William Conrad attacked a victim while she was changing her clothes at a pool party.
DNA evidence tied Conrad to the incident, the television station reported, though he denied touching the victim.
Conrad is in the Lafayette Parish Correctional Center on a charge of forcible rape. Bond was set at $50,000.
