Job seekers looking for gainful employment will have the chance to do a little online shopping for a new career today between the hours of 9 am and 2 pm. It's the annual Lafayette Economic Development Authority Job Fair. This year marks the 25th such fair and to be honest, the most unique job fair LEDA has ever hosted.

Job seekers will get to connect with those searching for employees via the internet. In order to participate a potential job seeker will need to go online and complete their profile information and download their resume. This will be accomplished using Brazen online software. You can create your profile and download your resume here.

During the hours of the fair, those seeking jobs will have the chance to peruse openings in and around the area. Some companies even have opportunities outside of Lafayette for those who might be willing to relocate. The online software will allow job seekers to chat with hiring managers about specific openings and qualifications needed for those openings.

The LEDA job fair is free to those seeking gainful employment and a list of participating companies can be found here.
