Louisiana’s American Idol

Shreveport native Natalie Hanson will be among the contestants featured when "American Idol" returns for its season premiere tonight and tomorrow.  Hanson, a graduate of Huntington High School, was among the many who auditioned when the show held a casting call in New Orleans last summer.  The 20-year-old is the daughter of David Hanson, the lead guitarist of The Voodudes, a popular band in North Louisiana. She appears on the show Thursday.
