Louisiana’s Ultimate Vacation Destination to Visit Before Summer Ends

Summer will be over before you know it, but you can squeeze in one last trip!

It always happens. Memorial Day weekend gets everyone pumped for summer, then we blink and summer is over. They say time flies when you're having fun so it's no wonder the back-to-school stuff is starting to fill the shelves.

It's time to squeeze in one last summer vacation.

Recently I found a list on PopSugar.com of "America's Ultimate Vacation Destinations by State." Basically this means you can have a fabulous vacation getaway without having to leave the state. Or you can find a great vacation in a neighboring state of one of your choice.

For Louisiana, they chose New Orleans and I'm not entirely surprised. There is a lot to see and experience in the Big Easy and there is something for everyone. Of course, this list was made well before Tropical Storm Barry brought flooding rains to the area.
