Texas Man Accused Of Stealing Guns and Jewelry in Broussard Arrested

A suspect accused of stealing more than $100,000 in jewelry, guns, and safes from the Le Triomphe subdivision is now in custody.

Justin Andrews is facing three counts of simple burglary. Andrews was arrested in Texas and is awaiting extradition to Louisiana.

Lafayette Parish sheriff's deputies say a joint investigation with the St. Martin Parish Sheriff's Office led them to identify Andrews, of Katy, Texas, as the suspect. Andrews is also wanted in St. Martin, East Baton Rouge, and Calcasieu Parishes on additional charges.
