Man Arrested In Lafayette Stabbing Case

A man is recovering after being stabbed with a box cutter.

Lafayette Police were called out to a fight that was happening in the 100 block of Jefferson Street just after 5:30 yesterday afternoon.

Lafayette Police Spokeswoman Corporal Bridgette Dugas says that 31-year-old Williams Jenkins was questioned and then arrested.

The victim, 31-year-old Lloyd Ross, is said to be in stable condition after being treated for a cut to his upper body.
