BATON ROUGE, La. (AP) — The Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries is accepting applications for hunts to be held in several wildlife management areas during the upcoming hunting season.

Hunters will be determined by lottery through a random computer drawing from the pool of applicants.

Hunt opportunities will include deer, duck and squirrel in the Bayou Pierre, Buckhorn, Camp Beauregard, Dewey Wills, Floy McElroy, Richard K. Yancey, Sabine, Sherburne and Ouachita wildlife areas.

Applications and more information may be obtained online at www.wlf.louisiana.gov/hunting/lottery-hunts.

A $5 fee must be submitted with each application.
