‘Michaels’ And ‘Sarahs’ Are More Likely To Have Travel Troubles
According to a new study by insurance company World Nomads, ten percent of all travel insurance claims came from tourists with the same ten names.
Male:
- Michael
- David
- Matthew
- Andrew
- Christopher
- James
- Daniel
- Peter
- Thomas
- Paul
Female:
- Sarah
- Jessica
- Emma
- Rebecca
- Katherine
- Emily
- Hannah
- Elizabeth
- Nicole
- Laura

But Phil Sylvester, a travel safety expert with World Nomad, did say that “If you’re thinking of starting a family and want them to be safe when they venture out into the world, you should consider giving them a different name.”
