Missing Eunice Man L.J. Walker Found Dead

Eunice Police say a body found in a ditch on Highway 13 matches the description of a man who went missing Thursday.

Police and the Eunice Fire Department began a search this morning at L.J. Walker's home at Divine Providence Apartments. It ended at 1:40 p.m. when they located a body with clothing that matched the family's description of the missing man.

Walker, 66, suffered from Alzheimer's disease.

His body was transported to Lake Charles for an autopsy.
