Another favorite Acadiana restaurant is closing its doors, this one after 32 years in business: New Iberia's Little River Inn will close this weekend.

The move to close was announced today in a Facebook post by its owner, Lori Watkins Hurst:

The Hurst Family says in the press release that the restaurant is being closed to personal, family reasons. The restaurant is popular, still profitable, and for sale. The family says that they would love to see someone from Acadiana purchase the restaurant and keep its tradition alive; they are offering it for sale as turn-key.

The announcement goes on to say that the restaurant's "sister" location, Poor Boy's Riverside Inn, will remain operating as usual.
