The cost to swipe a credit or debit card is a rising cost for various merchants from restaurants to retails stores to utility companies. You can read how the debate started on a story we posted on Sunday. The cost has grown to the point that some of these retailers have decided to do something about it. Jonathan Durbin, formerly of WorldPay and current CEO of Grow Simple, explained how this process works for retailers.

Meanwhile, Uncle T's Restaurant in Scott (the restaurant that was the subject of the weekend debate) is speaking out on Facebook.
