Pennsylvania Woman Admits Craiglist Killing In Interview

SUNBURY, Pa. (AP) — Police say they are investigating the claims of a Pennsylvania woman who says in a newspaper interview that she's a member of a satanic cult and has killed more than 20 people across the country.

Miranda Barbour and her newlywed husband are charged in the murder of a man they met through Craigslist.

The Daily Item in Sunbury, Pa., reported that the 19-year-old woman claims to have killed at least 22 others from Alaska to North Carolina.

Sunbury police Chief Steve Mazzeo tells the newspaper that investigators have been in contact with the FBI and law enforcement in several other states. Lawyers for the couple didn't immediately return messages.
