Sanitation Worker in Baton Rouge Pinned to Truck in Accident

Some sad news out of Baton Rouge on Thursday morning.

WAFB reports that a sanitation worker was injured in an accident Thursday morning after a vehicle reportedly hit the back of a truck that he was on.

The accident happened on Coursey Boulevard, resulting in lane closures during the morning commute.

The sanitation worker was pinned between the truck he was on and the vehicle that hit the garbage truck.

According to the report, there was no word on the type of injuries the worker sustained in the accident on Thursday morning. Some on social media did speculate that the worker may have sustained serious injuries to his legs.
