Scott Police Search For Vehicle Thief

A car thief is on the loose and Scott Police are asking fr your help in bringing him in.

Police Chief Chad Leger reported a black male was caught on surveillance footage stealing a vehicle from a business in the 4100 block of Cameron Street Monday.

Police were dispatched to the business where a caller said the suspect walked up to a parked vehicle, located the keys and drove off the property.

The suspect is described as a black male with braided hair, 5-feet-10-inches tall, weighing about 180 pounds.

The vehicle stolen is a 1976 Chevrolet El Camino, half white/half maroon with a switched license plate on the rear.
