St. Landry Still Searching For Suspect Who Ran Away Still Handcuffed
St. Landry Parish Crime Stoppers is still looking for 28-year-old James Rozas.
The man ran away from a deputy trying to get him into a patrol car.
Rozas was was last seen in the 200 block of Patton Street in Eunice.
St. Landry Crime Stoppers says Rozas was wearing a blue shirt and black basketball shorts that had red stripes on them.
He fled the area with handcuffs on.
The St. Landry deputy was originally arresting Rozas on a warrant from Acadia Parish for vehicle theft.
St. Landry Parish Sheriff's officials want him for violation of a protective order, resisting arrest and simple escape.
