St. Martin Parish Lane Closures Scheduled For This Week & Beyond

There are several roads in St. Martin Parish that are under construction.

• Northbound lane on North Henderson Levee Road @ I-10: Intermittent lane closures until 7 PM Thursday, May 24, as DOTD crews repair, clean and paint I-10 bridges in the eastbound and westbound directions.
• LA 975 will be closed to thru traffic for necessary bridge repairs at this location in Sherburne. The point of closure is approximately 4.2 miles northwest of the intersection of LA 975 and I-10. DETOUR: Signs will be posted directing NORTHBOUND LA 975 traffic east on I-10 to its intersection with LA 77, then northerly to its intersection with US 190, then west to its intersection with LA 975. The SOUTHBOUND LA 975 detour is east on US 190 to the intersection of LA 77, then southerly to the intersection of I-10, and west to the intersection LA 975 at Exit 127 (Whiskey Bay).
• LA 92-1 (Smede Highway) between LA 31 (Main Highway) and LA 347 (Cemetery Road): Closed from 6 AM Monday, May 7 until 5 PM Sunday, September 2, as DOTD crews construct the eastern portion of the new roundabout intersection project. DETOUR: Includes LA 31 (Main Highway), LA 96 (East Bridge Street) and LA 347 (Cemetery Road). Signs will be posted.
