9 names appear on the arrest report from the St. Mary Parish Sheriff's Office. Deputies say they responded to 36 complaints over the last 24-hour reporting period.

Keith Tillman, 19, 108 Patty Lane, Morgan City, LA was arrested on February 17, 2016 at 8:13 am on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of theft of goods. A deputy responded to a location on Highway 70 where a US Coast Guard officer detained Tillman. The deputy transported Tillman to the parish jail for booking. No bail is set.

Samantha Landry, 29, 225 Dixie Road, Franklin, LA was arrested on February 17, 2016 at 11:42 am on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of theft of goods. A deputy made contact with Landry at the St. Mary Parish Courthouse in Franklin and located the active warrant for her arrest. Landry was transported to the parish jail for booking. Landry was released on a $1,000 bond.

Harland Edmond, 30, 115 Lanza Lane, New Iberia, LA was arrested on February 17, 2016 at 1:08 pm on a warrant for aggravated assault with a firearm. The warrant is the result of an investigation into a complaint of an assault on a male victim. The detective gathered evidence indicating that Edmonds threatened the victim with a gun firing a shot in his general direction. A deputy transported Edmonds from the Iberia Parish jail to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center. No bail is set.

Rory Landry, 34, 15189 Highway 182, Franklin, LA was arrested on February 17, 2016 at 2:06 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of criminal neglect of family. A deputy located Landry at his residence on the warrant and transported him to the parish jail for booking. Bail is set at $16,569.96.
Lonnie R. Baker, Jr., 24, 312 Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard, Franklin, LA was arrested on February 17, 2016 at 4:06 pm for no driver's license, impeding the flow of traffic, and possession of marijuana.

Hosey M. Provost, Jr., 32, 136 Baker Road, Franklin, LA was arrested on February 17, 2016 at 4:06 pm for possession of marijuana and obstruction of justice.

Joantress Warner, 21, 610 Eleventh Street, Franklin, LA was arrested on February 17, 2016 at 4:06 pm for possession of marijuana.

Narcotics detectives patrolling the Patterson area observed a vehicle traveling in the left lane of Highway 90 at a slower rate of speed than other vehicles on the roadway. Detectives conducted a traffic stop after the driver failed to pull to the right lane to yield to other traffic. As detectives approached the vehicle, they observed a passenger, later identified as Provost, attempt to hide a bag of marijuana between the seat and console of the vehicle. Detectives also made contact with a third occupant in the vehicle identified as Warner. During the investigation, detectives retrieved the marijuana and also discovered that Baker was operating the vehicle without a valid driver's license on file. Baker and Warner were released on summonses to appear in court on May 4, 2016. Provost was transported to the parish jail for booking. No bail is set.

Aaron L. Comeaux, 30, 207 Saturn Road #7, Bayou Vista, LA was arrested on February 17, 2016 at 6:11 pm tail lights required and possession of Schedule II (methamphetamine). Narcotics detectives patrolling Bayou Vista observed a vehicle with a brake light that was not illuminated and conducted a traffic stop. Detectives made contact with the driver, Comeaux. During the traffic stop investigation, K-9 Buddy showed an odor response indicating that there was an illegal substance inside the vehicle. Detectives searched the car and located a container with methamphetamine inside. During a search of Comeaux, detectives located additional methamphetamine in his wallet. Comeaux was transported to the parish jail for booking. Bail is set at $2,250.

Kristy Theriot, 45, 1810 Saturn Road, Bayou Vista, LA was arrested on February 17, 2016 at 7:41 pm for possession of Schedule IV (clonazepam). A detective with the St. Mary Parish Sheriff's Office Narcotics Division patrolling Bayou Vista observed a vehicle fail to properly signal a turn three times and conducted a traffic stop on Saturn Road. The detective made contact with the driver, Theriot, and advised her of the reason for the stop. While speaking with Theriot, the detectives received consent to search and located several Clonazepam pills in her purse. Theriot could not provide a prescription for the drug. Theriot admitted to the detective that she got the pills “off the street.” She was transported to the parish jail for booking. Theriot was released on a $1,000 bond.
