Suspect Sought In Lafayette Car Wash Burglary

Detectives with the Lafayette Police Department are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect captured on surveillance video at a car wash burglary. On October 30^th, 2015, at approximately 6:30 am, the suspect was captured on surveillance video attaching a tow strap to a currency machine at the Express Car Wash, located at 3226 W. Pinhook Road. A white Ford Expedition was used to pull open the money machine at which time the suspect stole an undisclosed amount of cash. It is estimated that the suspect caused approximately $20,000.00 worth of damage to the business.

Detectives are encouraging anyone with information about the crime or the identity of the suspect to call Lafayette Police or Crime Stoppers at 232-TIPS.
