Suspect Sought In Roosevelt Street Home Invasion

At 2:00 am Friday Lafayette City Police responded to a call of a home invasion in the 300 block of Roosevelt Street. According to the victim the suspect forced his way through the rear door of the home. The victim attempted to push the suspect out of the home but was struck in the face before the suspect ran out the back door. The suspect is described as a white man with short hair, beard and wearing tan cargo shorts.

The victim suffered minor injuries.
