Cajun Woodstock - Saturday & Sunday, Church Point City Park. $5 admission, 12 & under free. Benefit for St. Jude. Complete schedule at CajunWoodstock.com.
Parks Cracklin Cook-Off - Saturday & Sunday, Cecile Rousseau Memorial Park, Parks. $5 entry fee, 12 & under free. More details at ParksCracklinCookoff.com.
Etouffee Festival - Friday through Sunday, St. John Francis Regis Catholic Church in Arnaudville. Complete festival schedule here.
Movies in the Field - Friday, St. Julien Park, Broussard. Gates 6pm, Movie at 7:45pm (dusk). Free. More info at their Facebook Event page.
Beats on the Bayou - Saturday, Isle of Iberia RV Resort, New Iberia. 7pm. Featuring music from Louisiana Leroux. Free if you're staying at the resort or $10 per non-camper. IsleOfIberia.com.
Stir the Pot Seafood Cook-Off & Festival - Saturday, Palmetto Island State Park. 10am - 5pm. $10 admission, $5 for kids under 12, 3 and under free. Details at FriendsOfPalmetto.org.
