According to reports, three men have been indicted on federal hate crime charges in relation to the death of Ahmaud Arbery. Arbery was killed while out for a run early last year.

The above report says that the announcement of federal hate crime charges against Travis McMichael, Gregory McMichael, and William Bryan came from the Justice Department.

Two Georgia men were arrested and charged with the murder of Arbery that occurred in February of 2020. Arbery was unarmed at the time of the incident and the news sparked outrage throughout the country.
