Two Arrested In Connection With Sexual Abuse Of Female Juvenille

(St. Martinville, La.)-On January 20, 2011, an investigation was initiated in reference to an alleged sexual abuse of a thirteen year old juvenile female for incidents that occurred from October 2010 to December 2010. Through the course of the investigation an adult female identified as Crystal Robin, 32, St. Martinville, was found to be involved in criminal activity that led to the sexual abuse of the thirteen year old female.

A Warrant of Arrest was obtained and on February 2, 2011, Crystal Robin, was arrested and booked into the St. Martin Parish Correctional Center on the following charges:

La. R.S. 40:981 Distribution to Persons Under Eighteen

La. R.S. 14:92 (A7) Contributing To The Delinquency Of a Juvenile (4 cts.)

La. R.S. 14:93.13 Unlawful Purchase Of Alcoholic Beverages By Persons On Behalf Of Persons Under 21

Her bond was set at $86,000.00.

Through the course of further investigation an adult male suspect was identified as Jermaine Alexander, 33, Breaux Bridge, for incidents that occurred sometime between October 2010 to December 2010. A Warrant of Arrest was obtained for the following offenses:

La. R.S. 14:92 (A11a) Contributing to the Delinquency of a Juvenile

La. R.S. 14:43 Simple Rape

On February 10, 2011, the St. Martin Parish Sheriff’s Office and the U.S. Marshall Services Violent Offender Task Force arrested Jermaine Alexander in Kaplan, Louisiana. Jermaine Alexander was booked into the St. Martin Parish Correctional Center on the above charge on a $55,000.00 bond.
