The Comeaux High students were last believed to be in Shreveport, Louisiana after Natalie's phone pinged in that general area.

The two teens were spending the night at Natalie's house and took her father's dark gray 2020 Kia Optima to meet Natalie's boyfriend and deliver birthday presents.

Natalie's father Adam Nelson said he believes once the girls knew the police were looking for them they ran.

The girl's parents were confused as to why they ran, and Nelson says they didn't have an argument.

After days of the teen's parents pleading for their safe return, "Please don’t think you’re in trouble. Please,” Ashly Somerville said. “We love you, and we just want you home. Your sisters miss you. We miss you. Your dad is out looking for you right now. Your mom is out looking for you right now, sweetheart.", they were found safe Thursday afternoon.

Despite their last known location being Shreveport, they were reportedly found in Oklahoma.
