Two St. Martinville Men Arrested On Burglary Charges

On May 24, 2015, the St Martin Parish Sheriff’s Office received a complaint in regards to a residential burglary which occurred in the Parks area. Investigators with the St. Martin Parish Sheriff’s Office initiated an investigation into the burglary. Yesterday afternoon, Investigators arrested Jaquincy Batiste, 17, St. Martinville, and Floyd Vallaire, 18, St. Martinville. in connection with the burglary. Both subjects were booked into the St. Martin Parish Correctional Center on one count of simple burglary. Both subjects bonded out.
