Veterans Clinic To Be Held In Morgan City

Third District Louisiana Congressman Clay Higgins will be hosting a veterans outreach clinic in Morgan City next week.

If you are a veteran you will be able to meet with the Congressman and a host of other officials about issues related to veterans affairs including:

• Registering for job service services.
• Learning about legislation in Congress dealing with the VA.
• You can file or check the status of a claim.
• You can sign up for healthcare or learn what's available to you as a veteran.

This meet up in Morgan City will be held on Monday, July 29 at the Morgan City Municipal Auditorium which is at 728 Myrtle Street.

Joining Congressman Higgins will be several officials representing various sectors of government to answer questions.

There will be representatives from the following:

• Louisiana Department of Veterans Affairs
• U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs
• Attorney General Landry's Office
• Louisiana Workforce Commission

The event will be held from from 11 o'clock that morning until 3 o'clock that afternoon.
