UPDATE: Maj. Wendell Raborn said Dandre Gabriel has turned himself into investigators with the Iberia Parish Sheriff’s Office.

Investigators with the Iberia Parish Sheriff's Office said three arrests have been made for the Jeanerette Mardi Gras parade that left on man dead and another injured.

Maj. Wendell Raborn said witnesses have come forward to give anonymous tips that led to the arrests of three men in connection with the Feb. 4 shooting.

Twenty-two-year-old Dante Archangel was killed in the shooting.

Here are the suspects who were arrested:

  • The St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office located 22-year-old Thaddeus Gabriel, of Baldwin. He was arrested on the Iberia Parish warrant for principal to 2nd Degree Murder and principal to Attempted 2nd Degree Murder. He was booked into the St. Mary Parish Jail and will be extradited to Iberia Parish.
  • Investigators are attempting to located 24-year-old Dandre Gabriel, of Jeanerette, for 2nd Degree Murder and Attempted 2nd Degree Murder.
  • 20-year-old Kentrell Gabriel, of Jeanerette, for Principle to 2nd Degree Murder and Principal to Attempted 2nd Degree Murder.

Raborn said the shooting was the conclusion of a physical confrontation among the victim and the suspects.

Dandre Gabriel and Kentrell Gabriel should be considered armed and dangerous.
