11-Year-Old Arrested for Murder in Moss Bluff Shooting

An 11-year-old has been arrested for murder after a shooting in Moss Bluff, just north of Lake Charles.

Calcasieu Parish Sheriff Tony Mancuso's office said that the 11-year-old was arrested for killing 39-year-old Andrew Lafleur, III, of Moss Bluff with a single gunshot.

The minor is being held in the Juvenile Detention Center on charges of 2nd-degree murder.

On Facebook, family members are asking for privacy while they deal with this tragedy, which is being compounded by the devastation that Hurricane Laura left in its wake.
