A Recent Trend in the Acadiana Area

You may recall that in late February, Louisiana State Police led a joint operation that led to the seizure of illegal vaping, CBD, and gaming devices at a grocery store in Henderson, Louisiana.

The Henderson Hwy One Stop, located at Louisiana Highway 352, had the following items seized from its store:

  • 716 illegal vaping products
  • 154 unauthorized CBD products
  • 106 nitrous oxide cartridges
  • 8 illegal gaming devices

No arrests were made at the time but authorities said the investigation remained ongoing and arrests were anticipated to follow.

Not-So-Nice Nicknames for 10 Louisiana Towns

Nicknames are a wonderful thing if you happen to be given the right one. That's the problem with nicknames, you don't get to pick your own. So, depending on the kind of people you hang out with your pseudonym is either a flattering referral to a trait you own. Or it's a sarcastic reminder of your shortcomings. The same rules apply when it comes to the nicknames we use for the communities we love. Although, from some of these nicknames, I'm not sure I can feel the love tonight, or any night for that matter.
