Money Taken from Amelia Bar

It happened early Saturday morning when Police arrested 30-year-old Jeremy Allemond.  They say that he entered the Tabu Bar with another suspect and began fighting with one of the workers there.  Allemond allegedly hit the worker with a 2 x 4, before taking a bank bag that had an undetermined amount of money in it.

Deputies were able to track Allemond down near Camille street at a home and arrested him, charging him with aggravated burglary, battery, and criminal damage to property.

As to the other suspect, police have not released any information about them as they continue their investigation.
