A Glenmora man has earned time behind bars following his arrest for stabbing his victim in the face with a screwdriver.

Our news partner KATC reported, Rapides Parish Sheriff's deputies responded to call on Highway 461 where they found the victim was stabbed with a screwdriver that could not be removed at the scene. The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment.

Glenmora detectives arrested Stoney Teal Smith today for aggravated second degree battery. He was booked into the Rapides Parish jail. Bail has not yet been set.
