Acadiana Man Being Sought For Shooting
Detectives with the Church Point Police Department are asking for the public's help in finding Curtis E. Guidry for his alleged involvement with a shooting that happened back in May.
Officials with Acadia Parish Crime Stoppers are featuring this case.
They say witnesses identify Guidry as the man who fired shots at a car on the night of May 23 in Martin Luther King Park.
While, no one was injured, officials say Curtis is wanted on two charges of Attempted Second Degree Murder and one count of being a felon in possession of a firearm.
If you know where to find Curtis Guidry, you are asked to give that information to the Acadia Parish Crime Stoppers officials by calling 337-789-TIPS (8477).
Another way to anonymously give police information is through the P3 app on your phone.
Officers say that Guidry fired several shots at a car with two people in it. Witnesses identified Guidry as the shooter, while two other people with him have not been identified.
Detectives say all of this stemmed from an earlier argument.
