There was a single-vehicle crash in St. Martin Parish that took the life of 57-year-old Bryan Hebert according to State Police.

State Police Spokesman Trooper Jesse LaGrange says that Hebert was driving his truck down Louisiana Highway 31 when lost control in a curve in the roadway.

Hebert was pronounced dead at the scene by the St. Martin Parish Coroner's Office, and routine toxicology tests are pending.

LaGrange says that Breaux Bridge man overcorrected, and the truck ended up flipping over. Hebert was ejected from the vehicle.

The trooper says the man was not wearing a seat belt.
