Acadiana Man Dies Following July Crash
Louisiana State Police Troop I Spokesman Thomas Gossen says they were notified today that a man who was severely injured in a July 30 crash has died.
Gossen says that 21-year-old Colby Deemer of Carencro failed to stop at a stop signed as he was driving from Louisiana Highway onto Louisiana Highway 343
The man, even though he was bucked up, received critical injuries in the St. Landry Parish crash.
He was taken to a local hospital, but he succumbed to his injuries a week and a half ago.
The driver of the truck who was hit by Deemer's sedan was moderately injured.
Routine toxicology tests are still pending in connection with this case.
