  • Ragin' Cajuns Baseball (Lafayette) -- The #1 ranked UL baseball team will be hosting Western Kentucky for a three-game series at M.L. "Tigue" Moore Field. for the scoop.
  • Ragin' Cajuns Softball (Lafayette) -- The Cajuns softball team will host Texas State in a three game conference series at Lamson Park. A doubleheader on Saturday starts at 2pm then a single game on Sunday at 1pm.
  • Family Adventure Day (Lafayette)-- On Saturday, families can embark on a day of great fun at over 30 local businesses. It's all to benefit Healing House, hope for grieving children. Details at
  • Barreling For a Cure (New Iberia) -- This Saturday and Sunday at the Sugarena in New Iberia, St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital and American Cancer Society Relay For Life present Barreling For a Cure.   • Zydeco Marathon (Lafayette) -- Lafayette will host the first annual Zydeco Marathon and Half Marathon on Sunday. The marathon is a USA Track and Field sanctioned and certified full and half marathon. The race also serves as a qualifier for the Boston Marathon. for more info.
