Amelia Man Arrested After Withholding Carnal Knowledge Of A Juvenile

Egbert Pennison was arrested yesterday for allegedly contributing to the delinquency of a juvenile. The St. Mary Parish Sheriff's Office conducted the investigation that led to the arrest.

This is the second arrest in the case after a complaint was filed on August 21st.

Detectives learned that Pennison had knowledge of the sexual encounter between 23 year old Kayla Bonnette and a 16 male.

Pennison is the 16 year old victim's cousin.  He was booked into the parish jail, no bond has been set at this time.
