Armed Robbery Investigated In Lafayette

Monday around 11:00 pm, Lafayette Police responded to the 200 block of Bridgeway Drive regarding an armed robbery.  The victim, a 23-year-old female of Lafayette, was exiting her vehicle when a black male with a handgun approached her.  The suspect stole cash, credit cards and an I-Phone from the victim.  The suspect, a black male in his 20’s or 30’s, was last seen fleeing the area on foot. The victim was not injured during the incident.  

Detectives are asking anyone with information about the incident or the identity of the suspect to call the Lafayette Police Department or Crime Stoppers at 232-TIPS.
