Arrest Made In Connection With Bomb Threat

(St. Martinville, La)-Shortly before noon today, the St. Martin Parish Sherriff's Office received a complaint regarding a bomb threat from the First Louisiana National Bank branch in Breaux Bridge.  A bank employee at the Breaux Bridge branch received a phone call from an unknown male subject claiming that there was a bomb at the St. Martinville branch and alleged it would go off at noon.  Officials with the St. Martin Parish Sheriff's Office called the Lafayette Parish Sheriff's Office and requested the assistance of their K-9 unit.  Upon the arrival of the K-9 Unit, they assisted in assuring the premises safe with the use of their bomb K-9.  Bank employees were then allowed to return to work. 

During the course of the St. Martin Parish Sheriff's Office investigation, Michael Tyronne, 43, St. Martinville, was subsequently charged with the following and booked in to the St. Martin Parish Correctional Center.
