BOSSIER CITY, La. (AP) — Police in Bossier City say they have made an arrest in connection with a shooting last week that left three people dead. Thirty-nine-year-old Gerald Cortez Needham was booked with three counts of first-degree murder after his Thursday evening arrest. The shootings happened last week at an appliance store. Killed were the 77-year-old owner of the store, Bill Norris; 58-year old Jesse Burks, and 66-year-old Harold Arnett. Norris and Burks were found dead inside the shop on Tuesday, April 12. Arnett died the following morning. Bond for Cortez was set at $3 million. Police released few details about Thursday's arrest. Police Chief Shane McWilliams was expected to discuss the case at news conference scheduled for Friday morning.
