ASO Symphony Sunday in the Park: ‘A Century of Sinatra’
As more people are being vaccinated for the coronavirus and municipalities are loosening their COVID restrictions, it's time to slowly (and safely) start enjoying live music again.
The Iberia Cultural Resources Association presents the Acadiana Symphony Orchestra at the New Iberia City Park with Symphony Sunday in the Park: A Century of Sinatra. The concert is scheduled for Sunday, April 11, 2021.
This special outdoor performance is one of the first in the return of live entertainment to Acadiana, and it will feature the Acadiana Symphony Orchestra with a vocal performance by Broadway star Sal Viviano. (If you recall his last performance with the ASO, Viviano really brings the Sinatra!).
Even though this concert is outdoors, the Acadiana Symphony Orchestra, along with the Iberia Cultural Resources Association, will be observing all current COVID-19 precautions.
In the event of inclement weather, the performance will be moved to the Louisiana Sugar Cane Festival building.
Symphony Sunday in the Park is part of the Books Along The Teche Literary Festival April 9-12, 2021. Watch the videos about Symphony Sunday and the literary festival to learn more about the events.
Symphony Sunday in the Park is one of four annual concerts in New Iberia and is part of ASO’s long-standing outreach program to communities throughout Acadiana.
