Authorities Still Looking For Failed Robber
Crime Stoppers of Acadia Parish needs your help to solve an Attempted Armed Robbery.
On February 5, 2011 just after 5:00 pm, an attempted armed robbery occurred at the business of D & D Grocery located at 324 West 2nd Street in Crowley. A black male described as 25 – 35 years of age, having a thin build, approximately 5’8” in height, with a dark complexion, entered the business and handed the clerk a note demanding money. The suspect then removed a small caliber gun from his packet and showed it to
the clerk. The suspect was seen on video making demands to the clerk; however he was unable to retrieve any money from the business. The suspect then fled the business on foot, traveling west to the Avenue D near Second Street. The suspect was wearing a blue hooded jacket during the robbery attempt.
