Acadiana is home to so many great non-profit organizations that help families in our area deal with almost everything life can throw at them. Autism Society of Acadiana does not look at Autism as a road block, but instead as a platform to do good in the world. The annual Walk For Hope is scheduled for April 8th and you are welcome to attend.

Pre-Registration Fees:  $20 for adults ages 13 and up and $15 for ages 4-12. Children 3 years and under are admitted free; however t-shirts are available in Youth XS for $5.00 for this age group. Register any child 3 years or younger even if you do not want a t-shirt. If you are registering more than one person, please choose a t-shirt size for each person from the drop down menu (except 0-3 yrs free). Pre-registration ends at 11:59pm CST on Friday, March 31st. Event t-shirts are only guaranteed to those who pre-register online, by mail, or in person at our office.

Onsite Registration Fees (Day of event):  $20 per person. Children ages 3 years and under enter at no charge.

Walk Details:  Onsite registration and sign-in for pre-registered participants begins at 7:00AM.

The one mile walk starts promptly at 9:00AM at the front of Blackham Coliseum and will proceed down Cajundome Blvd to the Cajundome and back to the Coliseum, followed by great family fun until 12PM. Food and soft drinks will be available, while supplies last.

Activities: assembling small building kits; fun jumps; balloon artist; art activities; carnival games; face painting; and gaming trailer with indoor/outdoor video games.

Music: Provided by Domingue’s Disc Jockey Service.

Awards:  Awards and recognition will be given at the event to the top 3 teams that raise the most funds during the pre-registration time frame (January 30 - March 31).
