Marijuana and synthetic marijuana were found in the system of the 21-year-old Grambling student who drowned last month in Girard Park.

According to KATC, the coroner's report — completed May 20 — cited Alexandria Shelton's cause of death as "drowning with contribution of poly drug toxicity."

Shelton was found dead in Girard Park April 13 after friends reported her missing.

Police have ruled out foul play.
