ALEXANDRIA, La. (AP) — Alexandria authorities have ordered an autopsy on a man's body found in Bayou Rapides.

Police spokesman Bruce Fairbanks tells The Town Talk there were no immediate signs of foul play.

Police say the body has been identified, but the name is being withheld because the next of kin has not yet been notified.

Police say a work crew found the body Thursday morning.
